Tamara is a London based CEO with renowned experience in brand consultancy, public speaking, and writing. Previously she had a highly successful international career as a stylist for catwalk shows, celebrities, editorial and brands. She was headhunted to head up the new National Centre for Fashion and Sustainability at Bath Spa University as Director and Professor.
She has over 20 years experience working in the fashion industry, as well as working in the UK Parliament. In fact, Tamara’s career is unique in having combined both fashion and parliament, allowing her exceptional insights and access across both worlds in communicating sustainable solutions, creative consultancy and policy agendas with expertise and insider knowledge.
Tamara led the Great British Wool Revival which has successfully mapped the UK wool industry from farmer and fleece to fashion and designer in partnership with The King’s Foundation and Yoox Net-A-Porter for their Modern Artisan project, with the aim of promoting on-shoring, fibre sovereignty and better business opportunities across the UK’s value chain.
She sits on numerous industry and advocacy roundtables and Boards across business, the creative industries, public affairs and sustainability. She is regularly asked to speak on panels, TV and chair debates.
